Code of Ethics
The Code of Professional Ethics includes all the characteristics that define the quality of the professional activity.
The responsibilities that the engineer has oblige him to respect unconditionally the Code of the profession and to have a superior civic attitude. His activity must be characteristic of competence, professionalism, creativity, honesty and responsibility.
In his whole activity, the engineer will act in conformity with the following deontological principles:
- The practice of the profession at the higher quality level, with responsibility and honesty in relation with the company and the client
- To behave in such a way for the view to contribute at the increase of the engineer prestige through:
- Attachment for the profession;
- Personal efforts to permanent improve his knowledge and skills;
- Professional training and provide for conditions that the subordinate persons develop their experience;
- Promotion of team spirit, mutual respect.
- To solve the engineering problems taking into account the ecological, social and economical aspects.
- To carry out only the tasks for what he has competence.
- To consult other specialists for the benefit of the company and of the client.
- To avoid the unfair competition.
- To provide for proper technical information, comparable at international level.
- To promote and to use the quality management.
- To offer proper technical, economical and ecological consultancy.
- To refuse the accomplishment of a task that is technically, economically or legally inaccurate or may prejudice the country interests.
- To respect the property and interest rights of other persons or companies.
