European professional title
EUR ING – European Engineer
The EUR ING certificate, awarded by Engineers Europe, is a guarantee of an engineer’s professional competence recognised in all member countries. AGIR is the national member of Engineers Europe for Romania, so AGIR members can obtain the title through the association.
180 AGIR members already hold the EUR ING title.
350 euro EUR ING fee, paid once in a lifetime.
What the EUR ING title brings
- a guarantee of professional competence issued at European level;
- easier mobility for engineers within and beyond the Engineers Europe countries: anyone who wants to work in another country carries proof of their qualification;
- a framework for the mutual recognition of engineering qualifications;
- information for employers on how engineers are trained in different countries;
- continuous improvement of professional standards, which are set, monitored and reviewed regularly.
Who can apply
- only engineers who are members of an association that is the national member of Engineers Europe; in Romania, this is AGIR;
- applicants apply in the country where they live;
- engineering education is checked against the EEED database (the universities and programmes recognised by Engineers Europe), together with professional experience.
